《如龙：真人版剧集预告片发布》

预告片中，日本演员竹内凉真饰演标志性人物桐生一马，角田健太郎饰演该剧的主要反派，西乡Akira。RGG工作室总监横山昌义指出，以在电视剧《假面骑士Drive》中扮演角色而闻名的竹内和角田为他们的角色带来了全新的诠释。
“说实话，他们对角色的刻画与原著故事完全不同，”导演在世嘉在SDCC的采访中说道。“但这正是它的魅力所在。”横山表示，虽然游戏已经将桐生一马完美呈现，但他欣赏这部剧集对这两个角色的全新演绎。
预告片只展现了该剧的短暂片段，但粉丝们看到了标志性的地下竞技场和桐生一马与岛野富志的对抗。
根据预告片的描述，这部真人版改编剧集承诺“将描绘凶狠却充满激情的黑帮成员以及居住在巨大娱乐区神室町（一个以新宿歌舞伎町为原型的虚构地区）的人们的生活”。
这部剧集的灵感松散地来源于第一部游戏，它讲述了桐生一马及其童年朋友们的生活，向粉丝们展示了桐生一马“过去的游戏无法探索的部分”。
尽管粉丝们最初担心该剧的硬朗氛围可能无法体现游戏的幽默时刻，但横山昌义向粉丝们保证，即将上映的Prime Video剧集将捕捉“原著的精髓”。
在SDCC接受世嘉采访时，横山解释说，他对真人版改编剧集最大的担忧是“它只会是模仿。相反，我希望人们能够体验《如龙》，就好像这是他们第一次接触它一样”。
“说实话，它好到让我嫉妒，”横山继续说道。“我们20年前创造了这个设定，但他们能够使其成为他们自己的……然而他们并没有忽略原著故事。”
看完这部剧集后，他指出，“如果你不熟悉这款游戏，这是一个全新的世界。如果你熟悉它，你将会一直咧嘴笑。”他甚至预告说，第一集的结尾会有一个让他惊叫着跳起来的重大惊喜。
预告片中并没有展现太多内容，但粉丝们不必等待太久，《如龙：如龙》将于今年10月24日在亚马逊Prime Video独家首播，前三集将同时上线。其余三集将于11月1日发布。
