Sonic Lineup Prepares for Sonic 3 Launch

Get ready for a Sonic boom! Sega is celebrating the upcoming release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 with a flurry of exciting updates across its mobile Sonic game lineup. From Apple Arcade's Sonic Dream Team to Sonic Dash and Sonic Forces (available on the App Store and Google Play), these updates deliver fresh content inspired by the new movie.

First up, Sonic Forces receives a major update on December 12th, introducing a brand-new Metro-city Zone. This addition boasts three challenging tracks, playable as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other familiar characters. Experience the movie's atmosphere firsthand before hitting the theaters!

Next, on December 18th, Sonic Dream Team gets an update adding Shadow as a playable character with unique abilities. Unlock him by completing Tails' Challenges. Master Shadow's Chaos Control and Chaos Shift powers to manipulate time and overcome obstacles.

This update also introduces new powers like Quick Grind and Perfect Boost for all characters, plus exclusive upgrades like Double Chaos Shift for Shadow. Six new Shadow-themed statues and music tracks are also included, alongside a revamped tutorial for new players.

Lastly, Sonic Dash's update arrives on December 20th, allowing you to collect cards and unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic. Daily challenges offer additional rewards. Sonic Dash+ on Apple Arcade will receive Shadow-themed updates in January.
