How to Use Sprays & Emotes in Marvel Rivals

Mar 19,2025 Author: Gabriella

In *Marvel Rivals*, expressing your style isn't just about mastering your hero or villain; it's about showing off those awesome sprays and emotes! Want to know how to unleash your cosmetic flair? Here's the lowdown.

Using Sprays and Emotes in Marvel Rivals

To use a spray or emote, simply hold down the 'T' key during a match. This will bring up your cosmetics wheel, allowing you to select your desired spray or emote. Prefer a different key? No problem! You can easily adjust this keybind in the game's settings.

Important note: You'll need to equip sprays and emotes individually for each character. There's no universal cosmetic application across your entire roster. To equip cosmetics, navigate to the hero gallery from the main menu, select your character, go to the "Cosmetics" tab, and choose from "Costumes," "MVP," "Emotes," or "Sprays" to equip your favorites.

Unlocking More Sprays in Marvel Rivals

While many cosmetics in *Marvel Rivals* are purchased with real money (primarily through the Battle Pass's Luxury track), you can snag some for free! Completing daily and event missions earns you Chrono Tokens, which unlock cosmetics via the Battle Pass. Boosting your proficiency level with individual characters also unlocks additional cosmetic rewards.

That's all there is to it! Now go forth and show off your *Marvel Rivals* style. For more tips and tricks, including details on Competitive mode rank resets and SVP explanations, be sure to check out The Escapist!
