"Stalker 2: Acquire the Unique Cavalier Rifle"

In *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*, the vast array of weapons caters to every player's preferred style of play. Among these, you'll find unique (named) variants with exceptional modifications or increased firepower. One such gem is the Cavalier, a distinctive sniper rifle equipped with a red-dot sight rather than a conventional magnification scope, making it incredibly effective at short to medium ranges. Let's delve into how you can acquire this remarkable weapon.

How to Get the Unique Cavalier Rifle in Stalker 2

You can find the Cavalier Sniper Rifle near the Military Unit within the Duga base in *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*. It's located inside a warehouse adjacent to a greenhouse. If you've previously accessed the Duga base to retrieve the Journalist stash, you'll find it easy to enter through the second entrance.

Getting Inside the Warehouse Near the Military Unit of Duga Base

Once you're inside the Duga base, make your way towards the Military Unit building, which is clearly marked on your map. You won't need to enter the building itself; instead, navigate around it to reach the greenhouse at the back. Exercise caution, as two Pseudogiants patrol the area and will attack if they spot you. Carefully approach the greenhouse to avoid a confrontation with these formidable mutants.

Pass through the greenhouse to enter the warehouse. Upon entering, you'll be met by swarms of rats that will start nibbling at your health. To escape their gnawing, climb onto the elevated green platforms at the back of the warehouse. To eliminate the rat swarms, toss a grenade into their midst.

Break the Wooden Boards & Grab the Cavalier Rifle

After dispatching the rat swarms, direct your attention to the ceiling above the entryway that connects to the greenhouse. You'll notice wooden boards covered in yellow paint. Use your weapon to shoot these boards, and the Cavalier sniper rifle will tumble down.

Secure the weapon and make a safe exit from the Duga base. You can then take the Cavalier to Screw, the technician at Rostok base, for upgrades. With its high damage and impressive accuracy, which can be further enhanced with modifications, the Cavalier is an excellent choice for players who prefer sniper rifles without scopes. Its red-dot sight makes it versatile for close to medium-range engagements.
