In *Marvel Rivals*, each character offers unique cosmetics that you can unlock by playing and excelling with them. From the main menu, navigate to the hero gallery and select the Hero Profile of any character. Here, you'll find the Proficiency tab, which displays your current proficiency level with that character and the rewards you can earn by advancing.
To level up your proficiency, you'll need to invest significant playtime with each character. Additionally, achieving specific objectives such as landing final hits, triggering particular abilities, or dealing damage will contribute to your progress. There are five proficiency levels you can achieve:
As you ascend through these levels, you'll unlock various cosmetic rewards, including sprays, KO prompts, and avatars.
Reaching Lord proficiency with a character in *Marvel Rivals* will automatically unlock their Lord icon or avatar. While it might take some time, it's entirely achievable to unlock Lord icons for several characters.
