Zenless Zone Zero: Big Reveal on January 22

Zenless Zone Zero enthusiasts have much to look forward to with the launch of Version 1.5 on January 22. This update introduces a variety of new content, including the addition of two new S-Rank agents, Astra Yao and Evelyn Chevalier, along with fresh game modes and significant optimizations that promise to enhance the overall gaming experience.

Version 1.4 of Zenless Zone Zero marked a pivotal moment for players, concluding several events that started at the game's launch and introducing the much-anticipated character Hoshimi Miyabi. As the current version nears its end, HoYoverse has shifted focus to the upcoming Version 1.5, which was detailed in a Special Program livestream. This version promises to keep players engaged with new characters and content, maintaining HoYoverse's commitment to a regular update schedule.

New S-Rank Agents in Version 1.5

The highlight of Version 1.5 is undoubtedly the introduction of two new S-Rank agents. In Phase 1, players can welcome Astra Yao, an Ether Support character, whose rarity adds to her appeal as only Nicole and Zhu Yuan share the same Ether-based attribute. Astra's unique W-Engine, Elegant Vanity, will also be available for players to pull for. Phase 2, set to begin on February 12, introduces Evelyn Chevalier, a Fire Attack agent and Astra's bodyguard. Her W-Engine, Heartstring Nocturne, will be available for a limited time as well.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5 Launches on January 22

Beyond the new agents, Version 1.5 offers a plethora of new content. Following the conclusion of the main narrative in Version 1.4, players can now dive into a new special story. The S-Rank Bangboo unit Snap will be up for grabs, alongside new check-in events and further game optimizations. Existing activities will see evolutions, and a new Hollow Zero phase called Cleanse Calamity will be available. Players can also enjoy a new Arcade game, Mach 25, and look forward to new costumes for Ellen, Nicole, and Astra Yao.

One of the most requested features is finally being introduced in Version 1.5: banner reruns. Similar to HoYoverse's other titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero will allow players to pull for past S-Rank agents once again. The first phase will feature Ellen Joe and her specific W-Engine, while Phase 2 will make Qingyi and her W-Engine available, giving players another chance to acquire these sought-after characters.
