Zenless Zone Zero Brings Back S-Rank Agents in Version 1.5

Zenless Zone Zero is set to reintroduce previously released S-Rank agents in its upcoming Version 1.5 update, starting with Ellen Joe and Qingyi. Characters play a pivotal role in HoYoverse's acclaimed titles, including Zenless Zone Zero, where they are made available for limited periods to encourage players to use in-game resources or real money to unlock them.

While HoYoverse's other flagship games, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, have long featured rerun banners, Zenless Zone Zero has primarily focused on introducing new agents with each update. Fans had hoped that the much-anticipated Version 1.4 would introduce rerun banners, mirroring the approach of Genshin Impact, but their expectations were not met. However, HoYoverse has now officially announced the introduction of rerun banners in Zenless Zone Zero with Version 1.5.

This update provides an excellent opportunity for players who missed out on earlier releases or have recently started playing to acquire these sought-after agents. According to the Version 1.5 Special Program, Phase 1 will kick off on January 22, featuring the Ether agent Astra Yao alongside a special rerun banner for Ellen Joe, who debuted in Version 1.1. Additionally, Ellen's Agent Story will be added, enriching her character narrative within Zenless Zone Zero.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5 Agent Release Schedule

Phase 1 (January 22 - Feb 12)

Like previous updates, Version 1.5 will be divided into two phases, with the second phase beginning on February 12. During this phase, Zenless Zone Zero will introduce Evelyn Chevalier and bring back the PubSec Agent Qingyi, who was featured in the latter part of Version 1.1. Both rerun banners will also include their respective W-Engines, allowing players to equip these characters with their signature gear.

The Version 1.5 special program also confirmed recent rumors about new character outfits. HoYoverse unveiled three new outfits that players can unlock: "Chandelier" for Astra, "On Campus" for Ellen, and "Cunning Cutie" for Nicole. Notably, the "Cunning Cutie" outfit for Nicole will be available for free as part of the Day of Brilliant Wishes limited-time event.
