May 20,2025Author: Carter
Get ready, Dead Cells fans, because the end of an era is upon us! After a remarkable run of free updates since 2018, the journey for new content in Dead Cells Mobile is drawing to a close. But don't worry, the game itself isn't going anywhere—you'll still be able to play and enjoy what's already there. Let's dive into the details of the final updates, Clean Cut and The End is Near, now available on Android.
What's in Store?
These last updates are bringing a deliciously cursed twist to the game. First off, you'll get your hands on four new weapons, including the giant Sewing Scissors and the Misericorde sword. The Misericorde is particularly intriguing, dealing massive critical damage to enemies below half health. But here's the catch: if you don't finish them off, you'll be cursed. Exciting, right?
Then there's Anathema, a heavy-ranged weapon that not only explodes on impact but also curses you if it hits anything. And don't forget the new skill, Indulgence, which unleashes a devastating beam of light and can even clear some of your curses.
The updates don't stop there. You can now challenge yourself with new modes like Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY. Plus, there are 40 new heads to customize your character, and an NPC ready to help you swap them out as you please.
New Mutations and Enemies Too
The final updates also introduce new mutations that add a thrilling layer of strategy to your gameplay. Cursed Flask lets you use your health flask without consuming a charge—a lifesaver in those intense moments. Damned Vigor gives you a few precious seconds to avoid death by taking out an enemy, and Demonic Strength boosts your damage when you're cursed.
As for new enemies, prepare to face the Sore Loser, who clings to you and curses you upon death. The Curser launches guided cursed skulls and slashes if you get too close. And watch out for the Doom Bringer, who can stack curses and kill you outright if you let her reach 50 curses.
So, what are you waiting for? Head over to the Google Play Store, download Dead Cells, and immerse yourself in these final updates while they're still fresh and new.
