The Blast from the Past event in *The Sims 4* is sending players on an exciting treasure hunt to unlock the latest set of rewards. Fortunately, there's a straightforward method to locate the hidden resources. Here's your guide to finding Plathinum and Ironyum in *The Sims 4*.
For those diving into the "Echoes of Time" portion of the Blast from the Past Week 2 quests, you'll encounter a follow-up set called "Inventing the Past." This challenge is similar to previous ones, requiring you to gather items for Emit. This time, your targets are Plathinum and Ironyum, and the good news is, the search won't be overly prolonged.
Finding Plathinum and Ironyum is straightforward as it mirrors the process of locating the Special Time Capsule. Navigate to areas with rocks and dirt mounds, such as parks, and pause the game to scan the surroundings. Once you spot your target, approach and start digging. It might take a few attempts, but you'll eventually uncover Plathinum and Ironyum, unlocking the next quest to build the Time Travel Component.
If you struggle to find rocks or dirt mounds, you can accelerate time to make them appear faster. Just be cautious not to spend too much time in this state, or you might miss your window to dig up the resources.
