Set to launch in the fall of 2025, *Ninja Gaiden 4* promises to deliver an adrenaline-pumping action experience with Ryu Hayabusa returning as the protagonist. The debut trailer showcased innovative mechanics, including swift traversal via wires and rails, which are new additions to the series.
The game is set in a striking cyberpunk city, characterized by a relentless toxic rain. Players will navigate this dystopian environment, battling hordes of modified soldiers and eerie otherworldly creatures in their quest to break an ancient curse that plagues the megacity.
Alongside *Ninja Gaiden 4*, the presentation highlighted a comprehensive remaster of *Ninja Gaiden 2*. Already available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and included in the Game Pass catalog, this remaster has been expertly ported to Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) by Team Ninja. The team has meticulously revamped character models, visual effects, and landscapes, while incorporating elements from the newer entries in the series, including three additional playable characters.
