Fabled Game Studio's highly anticipated sequel, Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage, is set to launch in 2025 on Android, iOS, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Building upon the success of its 2019 predecessor, this roguelike deck-builder promises enhanced features and a thrilling new adventure.
An open beta test is currently underway on Steam (October 25th-31st), offering PC players an early look. Mobile gamers will need to wait a little longer for their chance to plunder the seas. But before you embark, let's explore what's new.
What's New in Pirates Outlaws 2?
Pirates Outlaws 2 introduces a fresh hero with a backstory set years after the original game. This hero begins with pre-built decks and unique abilities. New additions include:
Companions: Each companion brings unique cards to enhance your deck.
Card Fusion: Combine three identical cards to create a more powerful card.
Evolution Tree: Customize your deck's progression through an evolving skill tree. Even previously discarded cards can be upgraded!
Revised Relic System: Relics are now found in markets, after boss battles, and during special events, instead of after every fight.
Countdown Battle System: A new countdown mechanic impacts enemy actions. The "End Turn" button is replaced with "ReDraw."
Enhanced Armor and Shield System: A revamped armor and shield system adds a new layer of strategic depth.
