Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 Release Date Announced with Spin-Off Series Debut

Star Wars Celebration brought thrilling news for fans, announcing that Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 is set to premiere on October 29, 2025. This highly anticipated volume will continue the tradition of featuring nine unique short films, crafted by renowned Japanese anime studios such as Studio Trigger (known for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), WIT Studio (Attack on Titan), David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q. This collaboration promises to deliver more breathtaking narratives and stunning visuals to the Star Wars universe.

Excitingly, three of the episodes in Volume 3 will continue stories from previous volumes. These include Kamikaze Douga's The Duel, Kinema citrus Co.'s The Village Bride, and Production I.G.'s The Ninth Jedi. The latter is especially noteworthy as writer and director Kenji Kamiyama revealed at the Celebration that the journey of Kara will expand beyond Volume 3 into a new spin-off series.
