Survive Tombs, Alter Desert

RuneScape's latest Dev’s Diary for April is packed with exciting details about the new update, "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly." This thrilling quest, available from today until April 28th, challenges players to survive the treacherous Shifting Tombs and alter the desert's destiny alongside Leela and Ozan.

Here’s the Full Scoop on the Pharaoh’s Folly in RuneScape

The situation in the Kharidian desert is heating up, with Menaphos teetering on the brink of collapse following Osman's shocking betrayal. The city is fracturing, with citizens divided and the ominous presence of Amascut lurking in the shadows. Escaping the Shifting Tombs is just the start of the perils you'll face.

But you're not alone in this adventure. Leela is back in action, and you'll gain new allies, including some adorable pets. Together, you'll delve into the ancient mysteries of Menaphos and unravel the true intentions behind Osman's actions.

Heading Back into the Heat Again

Successfully completing Pharaoh’s Folly comes with rewarding benefits. You'll gain Thieving and Agility XP, earn the prestigious title of "The Rabble-Rouser," and receive a new bracelet, Leela’s Favour. This bracelet allows you to teleport to various districts of Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the Shifting Tombs, and all active soul obelisks.

The Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly quest isn't for the faint-hearted. You'll need a Slayer level of 87, completion of the Beneath Scabaras’ Sands quest, and to have accomplished certain tasks from the Do No Evil quest within Phite Club. Additionally, you must have constructed the necessary structures from the Fort Forinthry storyline. Once you meet these prerequisites, you can join Leela outside the gates of Menaphos and embark on a mission to save the city from ruin. If you're ready to take on this challenge, download the game from the Google Play Store and dive into the Return to the Desert!
