Mastering the Tarot Cards in Phasmophobia: A Comprehensive Guide

Tarot Cards in Phasmophobia present a high-risk, high-reward scenario during investigations. This guide details their usage and potential outcomes.

Strategic Use of Tarot Cards:

Due to the inherent risks, using Tarot Cards in a safe area (near a hiding spot or entrance) is recommended. This allows for a quicker escape if an unfavorable card, such as Death, is drawn.

Card Mechanics:

Each card triggers an immediate effect upon use. However, there's a chance of drawing "The Fool," a null effect card. Up to 10 cards can be drawn without impacting sanity. Duplicate cards yield the same effect.

Tarot Card Breakdown:

The following table details each card's effect and draw probability:

Understanding Cursed Possessions in Phasmophobia:

Cursed Possessions (or Cursed Objects) are high-risk items spawning randomly in Phasmophobia contracts (depending on difficulty and game mode). Unlike standard equipment, they offer gameplay manipulation at significant risk to the player character. The choice to use them is entirely strategic. Only one spawns per contract (unless custom settings are modified). Each object has a fixed spawn location. Seven Cursed Objects exist in the game: Haunted Mirror, Voodoo Doll, Music Box, Tarot Cards, Ouija Board, Monkey Paw, and Summoning Circle.

This concludes our guide on using Tarot Cards in Phasmophobia. Consult The Escapist for further Phasmophobia guides and news.
