Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Global Release Times Unveiled

Ubisoft has officially announced the global release times for *Assassin’s Creed Shadows*, marking a departure from their usual strategy. Unlike previous titles, *Assassin’s Creed Shadows* will launch simultaneously worldwide without any early access options. The game will be released on March 20 at 12am local time for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. However, PC players will need to note different release times depending on their platform, with Steam and Ubisoft's Ubi Connect having separate schedules.

Pre-loading for the game is already available across all platforms, including Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC, ensuring players can jump right into the action as soon as the game goes live.

The stakes are high for *Assassin’s Creed Shadows* following Ubisoft's recent challenges. After several delays and the underwhelming sales of last year's *Star Wars Outlaws*, Ubisoft is under pressure to deliver a hit. The company has faced significant setbacks including high-profile flops, layoffs, studio closures, and game cancellations leading up to this release.

IGN's review of *Assassin’s Creed Shadows* awarded it an 8/10, praising the game for refining its open-world mechanics. The review stated, "By sharpening the edges of its existing systems, *Assassin’s Creed Shadows* creates one of the best versions of the open-world style it’s been honing for the last decade."
