REPO Development Updates
Overcharge Mechanic Revamp
Following REPO's open beta release, developers analyzed crucial player feedback regarding the Overcharge system. This mechanic enables players to counter enemies by lifting and throwing them against surfaces or away from teammates, balanced by an overcharge meter that causes explosions when filled.
Originally available immediately, Overcharge will now unlock at level 10. The development team at Semiwork plans to introduce progressively challenging mechanics every 10 levels (20, 30, etc.), with Overcharge serving as the initial tiered challenge. These mechanics will incorporate narrative elements, as Semiwork explained: "This system connects to our game lore - it's not just a standalone feature. We'll reveal more details soon."

Devs Participate in Live Matches

During the recent open beta, Semiwork developers joined random matches anonymously to gather direct player feedback. Developer Pontus Sundström expressed enthusiasm about player reactions: "I've secretly participated in matchmaking sessions, observing gameplay and discussing potential improvements with our community."
Semiwork remains committed to refining REPO based on beta feedback. The team promises more updates soon, encouraging players to stay tuned for upcoming features. For the latest REPO news, explore our related coverage below!
